Successful Completion of Mission Shakti Skill Development Project in ODISHA (SGHs)



We are proud to announce that NCSM (National Computer Saksharta Mission) has successfully completed a major skill development project in the Beauty & Wellness sector. For SHGs group members. 

Project Overview

Project Initiative: Department of Mission Shakti under the Government of Odisha
Project Management: Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council 
Implementation Partner: NCSM

Under this prestigious initiative, NCSM was entrusted by the Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council to implement skill-based training programs aimed at empowering women and strengthening livelihood opportunities in Rayagada & Bargarh, Odisha.

Empowering Women Through Skill Development (SHGs)

This project, launched under the visionary leadership of the Department of Mission Shakti, Government of Odisha, focused on creating sustainable livelihood in the Beauty & Wellness sector.

NCSM ensured:

  • Proper mobilization of candidates

  • Structured classroom and practical training

  • Industry-standard skill development

  • Regular monitoring and quality control

  • Successful assessment and certification

Project Impact & Outcomes

The project has created a meaningful impact on the lives of beneficiaries. After completing the training:

  • Many participants have started their own beauty businesses

  • Several are employed in salons and wellness centers

  • Some are working as freelance beauty professionals

  • Participants reported increased confidence and financial independence

This achievement reflects NCSM’s strong commitment to community empowerment and skill development.
